ABOUT LINDA

Originally from Canada, I grew up in Seattle, Washington, and have been living in California for the last forty years.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education/Art from the University of Washington.

In the seventies, I developed "Fiber Fabrications", designing and producing hand woven wall hangings sold all over the country using only non-spun wool and natural materials with earthy tones.

Later, I enjoyed working as an interior designer and then collaborated with my husband on residential design and speculative building projects.

Currently, I have been enmeshed in creating abstract paintings and geometric wood assemblages. In my "Black and White" series I have used a variety of natural textures in my work.

All my paintings have a tactile quality as well as visual. The challenge of a limited palette has allowed endless results and pushed me to create in many different ways.

Please contact me, size is not an issue; I work with designers, stagers, architects and art collectors.

Enjoy!

Linda
